To wander in the early morning light, the ancient stone pavers gleaming in the first soft light of a new day is something that fascinated me enough to get up at 5 AM every single morning; just roaming the narrow streets.
I often was lucky enough to sit down on old
stones to listen to the sisters of the convent in their morning prayer … it was incredibly peaceful and their beautiful voice filled my heart and soul to the brim.
The ancient stone under my skin did not only ground me, but its warmth radiated through me and gave comfort and power.
I would always end up at D16 Coffee shop to sip delicious coffee and chat a little with others who roamed and wandered. I met some fabulous people there ... new friends.
