What comes to life here every year isn’t “just” a parade — it’s community in action: creativity and tradition, powered by real heart. A huge thank-you to the Hechtonia and to everyone actively involved in Fasching: you organize, build, rehearse, support children and young people throughout the year, create space for ideas — and you bring our town this special mix of humor, craftsmanship, and togetherness. Hats off. Truly.

 

For me, it’s the same question every year: join the parade — or photograph it? In recent years I usually choose photography, because it’s simply too beautiful not to capture. These images are my small gift to you — for looking back, laughing, and remembering.

 

Important: There are 3 parts; I’ll be uploading more photos gradually over the next few days (hello job + everyday life 😉).
